They're baaaaaack!
It's my favorite time of the year.... apple cider doughnut time! Spike and I went apple picking last weekend, along with almost every other person in Massachusetts. I wanted to go back to Honey Pot Hill Orchards because of their amazing apple cider doughnuts, but I could never have guessed that so very many people had the same idea. I thought it would be crowded, so we went right when it opened and met up with the Driscolls and their beyond adorable baby:
No matter how crowded I thought it would be, I never imagined the hordes of people we would be up against. We got the doughnuts first, since that was obviously my top priority, but perhaps we should have focused a little more on the apples. By the time we got around to picking, most of the reachable ones had been picked! This just meant that we got to climb the ladder to reach the ones at the top of the trees:
And there were really nice views from up there:
All in all, it was a good day. We got our apples, I got my doughnuts, William got his first pumpkin:
And Spike and I took some really nice engagement photos:
