April Showers

A few weekends ago, I hosted a baby shower for my friend, Rose, who is expecting her first child in June.  Rose has always loved reading books... we first bonded over our love of Harry Potter and since moving to Boston, Rose has tried to start two or three different book clubs.  So it was an easy task to decide on the theme for her shower...

Of course, all of the food had to fit the theme too, so we had Green Eggs and Ham Quiche,

Peter Rabbit's Garden Vegetables,

Goldi"lox" Canapes,

Curious George Monkey Bread,

Strega Nona's Pasta Salad,

more Dr. Seuss-themed treats,

and milk and cookies.

All of which resulted in, what I hope was, a very happy mom-to-be!
