Halloween Week
Spike loves Halloween. He loves watching scary movies year round, but this time of year they're on TV all the time. He loves tricking people (me especially). And he loves candy. I would say Halloween is Spike's idea of the perfect holiday.
We've been celebrating Halloween week in the normal fashion, carving our pumpkin, toasting pumpkin seeds, making costumes, and buying candy. It wouldn't be Halloween without watching "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown," which I enjoy thoroughly every year and Spike at least pretends to. But last night Spike got revenge by making me watch "Monster Squad," which I'm pretty sure became as much a Halloween tradition as Charlie Brown due in large part to the line "Wolfman's got nards!" Oh yes... it's true. Please add this to your Halloween movie-watching repertoire immediately.
