It's described as a high speed thrill ride boat, traveling through Boston Harbor at speeds up to 40 mph. It is just that. While on board, the seamen regale you with the tale of how Codzilla mutated after eating waste from Deer Island. It's a bit hokey, but fun to laugh along with. You zip across the harbor to the island and then... suddenly... the giant cod is spotted in the water and the captain is forced to do twists and turns in a high speed chase to outmaneuver the giant. It was so much fun... I was giggling like a little girl. And if there's a macho way to do the same, Spike was doing it.

Go go Codzilla!
I may have mentioned in my ramblings that I LOVE birthdays. According to Spike, they are "just another day," but I completely disagree. A birthday is your day to celebrate your life and be happy that you were born! My love for the day has nothing to do with the fact that you get to eat cake and ice cream or that people shower you with gifts... nothing at all. But don't these Red Velvet Sandwich Cookies with Cream Cheese Frosting look really tasty?
Spike turned 32 on Sunday. He didn't want to do anything special, but I had other thoughts on the subject. After making him breakfast and giving him gifts, I told him there was a surprise for him down by the New England Aquarium. Now Spike hates surprises more than he hates birthdays and he really couldn't handle it. I was treated to a constant barrage of questions that I refused to answer and it drove him crazy. However, I think Codzilla was worth the suspense.
