Ho ho ho

While I was in the Homeland for Thanksgiving, my mother and I chopped down my Christmas tree. It's an annual tradition... we walk across the street, look through a bunch of sad-looking trees, try to find the least sad, straightest tree, chop it down, yell "TIMBER!", and then stuff it in the trunk for the long ride back to Boston. The trip back is filled with anticipation, the whole ride spent wondering just how much the tree is bending in the trunk. This year wasn't bad at all! I think it's because the tree is short and didn't have to bend that much to fit in the trunk. She's really gorgeous... Spike and I also put up some other decorations to make the apartment look like a winter wonderland:
