It snowed this week... just a little bit, but it was still snow. The leaves have all nearly fallen and our yard looks more orange-ish brown than green. The mums on our porch and in our window boxes died a long time ago and the pumpkins are beginning to rot. We've had a fabulous fall, but I'm ready to hunker and hibernate.
October was capped off with a trip to the Homeland, where I visited my mom and brother and also enjoyed some of the glorious Homeland vistas.
Spike and I celebrated Halloween with our usual weird costumes and carving the smallest pumpkin ever.
We also had Rose, Aren, and George over for a Halloween-themed meal, but decided to skip the annual scary movie viewing, since the little guy needed to go to bed.
And now it's November, which has already been filled to the brim with a quick trip to Brooklyn, a visit from brother David, a wedding, and this:
PICKLE PIZZA! Hopefully the rest of the month will be a little less eventful... I'm not sure I can stand the excitement!

Do you know that it's taken me over two weeks to realize that your pizza has a flock of mozzarella ghosts with caper(?) eyes? And that you are therefore even more awesome than I thought?
