Yo ho, Yo ho

Sometimes my job is really great. It certainly has its moments, but times like Tuesday night make up for them. Lynn got invited to an event hosted by a hotel we're having a conference at in the fall. The event was aboard the Liberty Clipper Schooner docked in the Boston Harbor, a beautiful old sailboat that I have often admired.

We were wined and dined dockside for awhile, enjoying the beautiful skyline of Boston, while snacking on tasty food and partaking in the open bar. But when it was time to hoist the sails and depart on our sunset cruise, we were invited to help out in the hoisting. I quickly volunteered, of course, being a pirate wannabe and all. But let me tell you, my pirate skills need some work.... it was really hard! My arms were burning and I was trying to keep up, but it was really tough. Maybe being a pirate isn't the best idea.
It was all worth it though, when we were treated to the gorgeous sunset over the Boston skyline. Maybe a pirate's life is for me after all.
