Brr... just brrr

The rest of December was great and Christmas and New Years were fun.  January has been freezing.  Like really freezing.  I realize that winter in New England should be cold, but this is ridiculous.  Today is the first day this week that the temperature has been above 20 degrees.  The sun is shining brightly, but it doesn't seem to be doing much good. 

Because of the arctic temperatures, or the "polar vortex" as the media has dubbed it, I've seriously limited my time outdoors.  I basically run from the house to the car, the car to work, work back to the car, and the car back in the house.  It makes me sad.  I've been trying to keep active by using the treadmill and bike in our basement, but those endorphins only last so long.  I long for spring so badly.  I'm posting this picture to cheer myself up.
