Veggie Muff

Spike and I are going to New Orleans this weekend for the first time ever.  I'm so excited as I've been wanting to go for a long time.  I plan on drinking bloody mary's and eating as much as humanly possible.  I made muffulettas recently in order to prepare.
Mine didn't have meat, of course.  I substituted roasted red peppers and artichoke hearts instead and called it a "veggie muff" as they did in Savannah.  The pickly tang was so amazing.... I can't wait to try a genuine New Orleans one!
