Food, Glorious Food

So I think everyone knows how much I love food. I love to talk about it, look at it, take pictures of it, and most of all, eat it. This past month, some pretty momentous occasions have taken place and though food wasn't the highlight, it definitely played a role. So, here are some of the things I've eaten this past month.
First of all, when a girl gets her hair done on her wedding day, she must not forget the importance of pickle juice in the styling process. The bride should also remember that many pictures of her will be taken throughout her wedding day and possibly even at times when she has food in her mouth. She might not necessarily have lettuce coming out of her mouth like I did, but not everyone can be as lucky as I am.I also ate cheesecake disguised as wedding cake. It was delicious. The fact that it was fed to me by the most handsome groom in the history of the world may have had something to do with it.
Then came our honeymoon to Mexico, where I ate...... well, everything. But the daily lunch of a quesadilla and chips and salsa with a Bloody Mary was definitely one of the highlights. The other highlight being ceviche, which Spike and I tried to eat at every meal, and sometimes in between meals. It was just so delicious, perfect, and amazing that I will continue to dream about it until we are together again. Oh and the baby turtles were also delicious in Mexico. Haha... just kidding! We actually helped to release this one into the ocean and I'm trying not to think of it being anyone else's dinner. Bye, Squirt, be free!
So then I came back from Mexico in time for the most momentous occasion of the entire month... my first apple cider doughnut! Okay, well maybe not the MOST momentous. Spike will always be my one true love, but those cider doughnuts are pretty close in second place.
